Yes, the low-speed hand pieces that the Esa disposable angle fits, Midwest^® Shorty^®, Rhino^®, Star Titan^® and Esamate^® are all heat sterilization tolerant so they are in compliance. The states where the practice acts require heat sterilization between patients are: CA, FL, IN, KS, MO, MN, OH, OR, SC, VA and WA. More importantly, plastic handpieces, like the Nupro^® Freedom^® cordless handpiece which are not heat tolerant and cannot be sterilized between patients should be avoided until there is positive proof of compliance in these states.
